Participating Universities
Scientists have access to computers for scientific work at the four sites. The multifaceted architectures of the high performance computers correlate to the main research fields of each university.
In 2014, the Competence Center for High Performance Computing in Hessen (HKHLR) started work. The HKHLR is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art (HMWK) and coordinates the high performance computing in Hessen at the Universities of Darmstadt, Gießen, Kassel and Marburg.
