ISC 2022

HKHLR at ISC 2022

In conjunction with the NHR alliance (NHR-Verein), Hessian Competence Center for High Performance Computing (HKHLR) will be present at the 2022 conference from May 29 to June 2.

For two years the ISC High Performance Conference could not take place as usual. Now it is back in a hybrid form and with top-class guests in lectures, tutorials and workshops that move the industry. The International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) will take place in Hamburg. Following the motto "Transforming the future", the international conference for High Performance Computing (HPC) focuses on the most important developments and trends in the fields of HPC, machine learning and high-performance data analysis.

HKHLR experts on site

Our experts from the HKHLR will be present at the Gauss Alliance (GA) booth to answer questions about Hessian High Performance Computing (booth number: H805). In addition to numerous conference contributions, the Gauss Alliance, the Verein für Nationales Hochleistungsrechnen e.V. (NHR-Verein), National High Performance Computing Center for Computational Engineering Science (NHR4CES) and other national HPC stakeholders will present their activities in the exhibition area in direct proximity in a German HPC village.

"Platform for National HPC"

The GA addresses under the main focus "Platform for National HPC" the activities of the country networks and the HPC centers as well as their IT service. Furthermore, thematic live presentations are planned in cooperation with the NHR as well as the GA centers. The NHR association, which is represented at the ISC for the first time, will present in particular the contribution of the association to the German HPC landscape and its importance for German research. At the joint booth, the nine NHR centers will present their concept and provide information about the numerous overarching activities in the NHR Association. Several NHR future projects will also present their work at the "Project Poster Session". All information about Gauss Alliance at the ISC you will find here.

NHR4CES

As an NHR Center, NHR4CES (National High Performance Computing Center for Computational Engineering Science, a cooperation of TU Darmstadt and RWTH Aachen University) will have a joint booth with the JARA Center for Simulations and Data Science and will be available throughout the exhibition to answer questions about infrastructure, computing time requests, support opportunities, and current research (booth number: J905). NHR4CES experts will also have a large presence in the conference part of ISC High Performance 2022. Here you will find a detailed listing of all activities with participation of NHR4CES members.
