The package Spack (https://spack.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) has been used on the Lichtenberg cluster to build large parts of the software stack, which is accessible to the users via the module system. Spack itself is also available for users and thus facilitates installing their own software in the user space. In this talk, we demonstrate the user installation of additional software packages in a Spack environment.
