Are you tired of using bare-bone command line text editors on a HPC cluster ;-)? In this HPC Byte, we will show how to use a local "IDE" to develop software on a remote HPC system.

You will learn how to establish a connection from your local computer to an HPC cluster. We address using the module system to configure a build environment based on C/C++ and scientific libraries. Finally, we will execute our applications from within the development environment.
